Great Productions is led by great scholars of the arts. Lawrence Dane Boles is the owner of Great Productions. Boles is very knowledgeable of the music industry. He has experience in producing, recording, marketing, performance and theory. Boles has produced music for talented, upcoming music artists from parts of North and South Florida. Boles describes his business philosophy as “giving the people what they want. I don’t want to be the one to tell someone that they’ll never make it because they don’t know the right people or spend enough on the right producers. Music, art… all of that comes from the soul, regardless of how professional an artist’s approach is. I’m lucky enough to have had the opportunities to learn first hand about the music business, and it’s my job to make sure that the unfiltered, naturally euphoric essence of music is able to survive in a market that is fighting a battle of numbers.”
Vera Matejic, a professional photographer, assists Boles in managing Great Productions. She is fine arts critic with a “plethora of experience in fields” that relate to Great Productions’ business avenues. Matejic has years of experience in business management, music touring, sales and marketing. Ms. Matejic describes the opportunities Great Productions presents by stating: “I don’t believe people can quite yet comprehend the extent of how far we plan to take this business. We want our company to be the stepping stone for all of those who weren’t given a chance and have it serve as a bridge toward bringing the whole arts and entertainment culture together. It’s time for independence and not conformity.”
Jennifer Young, a published photographer and artist, assists Boles and Matejic with the creative direction of Great Productions. She has years of expertise in make-up artistry, video production and design. Young is a recognized member of the National Honor Society, English Honor Society, Art Honor Society and Quill & Scroll. Young discusses the goals of Great Productions by saying, “Tallahassee has more to offer the entertainment industry than most people realize. There is no reason for this city’s talented artists to seek avenues of advancement in other cities. Great Productions has the ability and the drive to further the entertainment industry in this great city and ultimately in this great world. The United States of America was founded on hard work and perseverance. The entire team at Great Productions has the will power and determination to put Tallahassee on the map in a big way. There is no limit to the heights we can reach and Great Productions will never stop reaching higher.”
